What we collect

This site collects personal data in two ways:

• Analytics (optional, consent-gated). If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) collects pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. GA4 sets cookies in your browser to distinguish sessions. Your IP address is processed by Google but is not stored in full by this site.
• Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message. That submission is delivered directly to our business email inbox. We do not use a third-party form storage service; the data lives in our email as ordinary business correspondence.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Essential cookies & local storage

Your browser stores a single preference value (in local storage, not a cookie) when you make a choice on the cookie banner. That value records whether you accepted or declined analytics. It is not transmitted to any server and is not used by GA4.

Google Analytics (optional)

GA4 is loaded only if you click Accept analytics on the cookie banner. If you choose Essential only, no GA4 scripts or cookies are set by this site.

GA4 data is processed by Google under their privacy policy. This site uses GA4 for aggregate traffic analysis only — not for ad targeting or remarketing.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact page are delivered to our email inbox and retained as standard business correspondence. We use your contact information only to respond to your inquiry. Do not submit classified, controlled unclassified, or otherwise sensitive government information through this form; it is not a secure or accredited channel.

Your Virginia privacy rights

Although Jeffs Link LLC may not meet the processing thresholds that trigger mandatory compliance with the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), we apply its principles as our baseline. Virginia residents may:

• Request access to personal data we hold about them
• Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of their personal data
• Opt out of any sale of personal data (we do not sell data)
• Opt out of targeted advertising (we do not conduct targeted advertising)

Data retention

GA4 analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings. Contact form submissions (email) are retained as long as needed for business purposes and then deleted in the ordinary course of business.

Changes

This policy may be updated when our practices change. Material updates will be reflected here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising under it are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Arlington County, Virginia.
